The Lincoln County Clerk, Kristy Scraggs, is responsible for the recording and preserving of most documents pertaining to the citizens of the county. These documents include land records, birth certificates, death certificates, marriage records and wills…just to name a few.
The County Clerk also serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the county. Maintaining and processing county financial records and budget, processing payroll and accounts payable are also part of the County Clerk’s official duties. The County Clerk serves as the chief election authority for the county, conducting all Lincoln County elections and voter registration.
